Basil came to us from Bayberry Australian Shepherds in June of 2021. Vinelake bred his mother, Willow, and Basil is a wonderful piece of that pedigree. He made his ASCA show debut in late August and finished quickly (less than 3 months) with 4 big majors from respected breeder judges. At ASCA Nationals, he won the open red dog class twice, and was awarded 2nd and 4th.
In AKC, Basil’s first points came from a USASA Specialty in Orlando, FL at a Royal Canin pre-show. He quickly followed that by going Best of Winners at the AKC National Championship in an entry of 92 class animals.
Basil is a sound, clean mover and structurally correct, as well as a joy to live with. He enjoys snuggling up on the couch and loves his people with his whole heart.
